Kat was born and raised in Ōtaki, until moving away to explore the world when she had finished school.

After spending 18+ years living in London, getting to travel around and experiencing many different cultures, it was time to move back to her hometown again.

Kat and her husband, Rob, now live on her grandparent's farm that has been set up as a Papakāinga, with her Father and younger brother as the kaitiaki of the land.

Kat enjoys spending time with friends and family, working in the beautiful garden that was created by her late grandmother and still enjoys seeing new parts of the world when possible.
